This is a short blog to explain the steps of Self-publishing at least how I did it, to begin with a wrote the first draft then I opened a second document and refined ideas in my second draft It honestly took me two years to write death’s successor due to hospital vits for my medical conditions and disability,

Once the second draft was complete, I placed my writing-on-writing sites Wattpad at first to gain feedback and later Inkitt, it didn’t go so well, I got comments sometimes but not much I could actually use, now some books make it on those sites, but others do not. Please do not do what I did with a pervious book and go with the first publisher who expresses interest it was honestly a big mistake as a newbie author I should have been doing my research and looked around. Since I was interested in tradition publishing at the time, i found it difficult to get an agent, but I highly suggest finding one in your state to represent your book

However, what made the offer of the publishing house in Adelade appealing was surgeons offered me a discount of 25% for his in-house editors known as the writing to edit an earlier vison of the seer Chronicles which still came to $3300 Knowing in hindsight what i know now, I would have never taken the deal.

As when my manuscript came back it was missing over two hundred pages of content with missing storylines and characters disappearing from the story completely leaving me with an unfished manuscript, which they assured me it was publishable which was false

One rejection letter from Penterra press read: We are intruded by your work however we do not wish to continue with it any father, but please do not give up hope, as another publisher may be interested in your work, we cannot give you any detailed Feeback good luck.

Getting stung with a rejection letter was painful however I didn’t give up and sent it to two other publishers one did not get back to me at all within three months, that is cessed as a rejection. The next was Midnight publishing a new Interdent publisher in Australia however they didn’t feel my fantasy book was the right fit for them.
I then decided on a new book and to try self-publishing which has given me better results, a community of writer friends to help and support one another
I believe traditional publishing can still work if you find the right agent and get accepted by them.
